ROLLIN' ON ART
Here at Index Ink we have always loved cars, trucks, bikes, really anything that can move. The VW tuning scene has a huge creative element to it and seemed like perfect fit for the kick off of the I.T.W projects.
Our Latest project in the works is a 2010 VW GTI. It's still in the kustomizing process and will be finished just in time to hit the shows and events Index will attend this summer. Most notably so far are the one off custom hand painted wheels done by Chad Carothers featuring iconic Index Ink art. More doodles to come...

SURF EXPO LIVE ART INSTALLATION
This multi canvas art installation was carried out by Chad over the course of three days at Surf Expo in Orlando Florida. The weather proved to be a challenge with 300% sticky humidity, crazy thunderstorms and more humidity. It gave the paints a life of their own taken substantialy longer to dry. Despite the set backs, Chad came through the last day and the results speak for themselves. Finished size is approx. 12’ x 5’ - Acrylic on Canvas.
KUSTOM MOB’
Index Ink Family member, Adam Hauck got the full treatment to his Black Market MOB Frame courtesy of Chad Carothers and Index Ink. Chad hand painted the frame into a collage including some of Adam’s favorite things. The art wraps around the entire bike and is a pearlized orange finish.
JAPAN MURAL
Resident Index Ink Artist Chad Carothers made the journey to the Far East to contribute his art and the Index Ink name. Completed in just two days working nonstop shooting stills along the way produced not only a nice memory of us in Japan, but a step by step timelapse of the entire process. Finished size is approx. 10’ x 4.5’ - Acrylic on Canvas.
MUSINK MURAL
Painted live at “Musink” (an event dedicated to tattooing, the arts and music) by Artist Chad Carothers and Alex Funderburk. Finished size is 20’ x 6’ - Acrylic on Canvas.
